I'll start by saying I love the ohsnap! phone grip. It is without a doubt the best solution for the problem in which it is designed.

I originally purchased the phone grip and installed on a case with a magsafe ring and didn't have a single issue. While the phone was attached to a magsafe mount it was knocked into my bed's headboard in the middle of the night and the magnet on the ohsnap! phone grip was so strong it actually ripped the magsafe ring out of my case. I like the grip so much that I decided to try it without a case. The original adhesive was still pretty sticky so I stuck it directly to my phone but it would not stay on my phone when I used any of my magsafe mounts.

Thinking the adhesive was just used, I was delighted to find that ohsnap! sells an adhesive replacement. I ordered and applied the replacement, waited 24 full hours and it still would not stay on my phone when using a magsafe mount.

I read a bit more and found that there is a vinyl sticker in the original packaging as well as with the adhesive replacement kit. This time, I rinsed the adhesive with lukewarm water as recommended, cleaned my phone surface with isopropyl alcohol, dried the phone surface, applied the vinyl sticker, then the ohsnap phone grip on top of the vinyl sticker, waited another 24 hours and yet again could not get the grip to stick to my phone when using a magsafe mount. Ultimately, I had to purchase another phone case with the magnetic magsafe ring, then follow all of the steps…
