MCON began when Josh King, frustrated with the stagnation of mobile gaming and missing the freedom of handhelds like the DS and Game Boy, set out to design a pocketable MagSafe controller that didn’t exist. After 3D-printing a prototype and gaining overwhelming support on YouTube, he left college, formed a company, and began developing it until rising costs stalled progress. Josh then reached out to Ohsnap, and we reignited the project, refining the design into a sleek, functional controller that transformed a dorm-room idea into a polished gaming device.
DOES MCON WORK WITH SNAP GRIP?
Yes, but the experience is less bulky and more secure if you temporarily remove Snap Grip.
DOES MCON POWER TRANSFER?
Your phone can charge MCON (via USB-C) but MCON will not charge your phone.
