MCON began when Josh King, frustrated with the stagnation of mobile gaming and missing the freedom of handhelds like the DS and Game Boy, set out to design a pocketable MagSafe controller that didn’t exist. After 3D-printing a prototype and gaining overwhelming support on YouTube, he left college, formed a company, and began developing it until rising costs stalled progress. Josh then reached out to Ohsnap, and we reignited the project, refining the design into a sleek, functional controller that transformed a dorm-room idea into a polished gaming device.

    This might be the best thing ever

    As an “unc” with a full time job and a kid on the way, I can say that my days of sitting in front of a computer screen for half a day is behind me (for a little while anyways). However, this amazing device paired with a GeForce Now subscription will keep me in the game with arc raiders and COD Warzone. The buttons are super responsive and the paddles make it comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Thanks for making this amazing device. This is better than any controller on the market. The longevity remains to be seen, but so far, this is absolutely amazing! Thank you Oh Snap!

    Almost Perfect.

    I preordered on launch day back in October 2025 and finally received my MCON two days ago. Everything works great and puts the competition, like the Backbone One, to shame. The only feature I wish the MCON had that’s missing is pass through charging to my phone. Hopefully that is something that will be added in future models. Definitely recommend picking this up!

    Ingenious Design Done Right

    Touch controls for mobile games aren't amazing, it covers up the valuable screen real estate that could be used to see one more enemy just a second before they kill you. This controller is, without a doubt, EXACTLY what they claim on the front page: "Pocket-able AF." For mobile gaming, this is a godsend Josh. Ill be the first to admit, I was hesitant to spend all that money on a controller, but im extremely happy with it, and the support for both NS and PS is extremely underrated. Also highly reccomend the keycast (NOT the dock) as the ability to just plug it into a laptop or someone else's PC is quite good and it just doubles as an HDMI adapter.

    Very good and AMAZING!

    I love this controller, completely beats all the other ones I have for my phone by a landslide. It’s comfortable, portable, and extremely versatile. I love how it has different input codes as well to change things, like being able to make the triggers analog instead of digital. It’s a complete game changer and worth the price, and the wait. The battery also lasts hours on end and It has no input delay as well, as far as I can tell. I’ve had it for a few days and it honestly makes my gaming experience a lot more fun than it use to be. I really can express how much I love this controller, and being able to separate it in two to have kickstand as well is just the cherry on top. It works well with Xbox Cloud Gaming and my old-school Emulator Game apps.
