I almost bought an ohsnap, but I hesitated due to price and exchange rate between USD and CAD, and then OhSnap Luxe was released. I still hesitated, but a coworker had one on her phone. I asked her, "is that an OhSnap?!" And she confirmed, then I asked which model and she advised Luxe. I asked hwr if she loved it. She did. And she let play around with it. That sealed the deal and I got 1 of my own. Sadly the adhesive failed after a couple days. ( I have a pretty strong magnetic stand, Ohsnap peeled off when removing phone from the stand) I reached out to Ohsnap and groaned internally when advised I would hear something within 5-10 business days. Well within 5-10 MINS I received an email from Emma advised that my replacement was already processed and would ship soon. I think all my friends and family will be getting OhSnaps for birthday presents this year!

I have been an avid fan of ohsnap grips since I discovered and purchased my first one in January 2021. Since then I have upgraded my grip in April 2023 to the gen3 and again last year in July 2024 to the gen4 (ie Luxe). Overall I love the gen4 grip. However, going from gen3 to gen4 they reduced the 'stickiness' of the adhesive. I started having issues within a few months after I started using the gen4 where the grip will pop off of my phone case. It happens periodically, and usually when i try to hold the grip at odd angles. I never had this issue with the gen3 with over a year of use. Same phone case style. I am considering using superglue to keep the grip on the case out of concern for the grip causing me to unintentionally drop my phone. I don't understand why they reduced the adhesive stickiness from gen3 to gen4, but it is affecting the overall reliability. All this to say that overall I love the grip and its functionality. Would be 5* if they used stronger adhesive.
