Will it work with my phone?

MagSafe phones and cases: everything snaps straight on, no adapter and no adhesive.

Android, or a case without magnets: the Grip Stand includes an adhesive adapter that works on Androids, cases, Kindles and more. Once it's on, the rest of the kit attaches magnetically as normal.

Stacking: the Snap Pack is dual-MagSafe, so it snaps to your phone with the grip still stacked on top of it.

The car mount holds any ohsnap accessory or any MagSafe-compatible phone, so it works whether or not the grip is on.

Kit vs. Grip Stand on its own

The Roam Kit is the grip, the battery and the car mount, and it ships free. It is the only way to get the car mount at no cost.

The Snap Grip Stand alone is the grip and kickstand on their own. It is the cheaper line on this page, but it sits under our $79 free-shipping threshold, so shipping is added at checkout, and there's no battery or mount in it.

Setting it up

The grip: hold it near the middle of the back of your phone and let the magnets pull it into place. Nothing to peel unless you're using the adhesive adapter.

The car mount: pick a smooth, hard, flat spot on your dash and clean it first — 3M VHB bonds to smooth surfaces, so heavily textured or soft-touch plastic is the one place it struggles. Press firmly and give the adhesive a few hours before hanging a phone on it.

The battery: snap it to the back of your phone, or plug into USB-C. It charges through the magnets with the grip still attached on top.

Three things: the Snap Grip Stand, the Snap Pack and the Snap Car Mount. You pick the colour of the first two — the mount comes in Boring Black. Bought separately they add up to $154.97. The kit is $99.99, which is how the $34.99 car mount ends up being the part you don't pay for.

Will it work with my phone?

If your phone is MagSafe, or you're running a MagSafe case, all three pieces snap straight on. No MagSafe? The Grip Stand ships with an adhesive adapter that works on Androids, cases, Kindles and more. Once the grip's on, the Snap Pack and the car mount both hold magnetically.

Can I still wireless charge?

Straight answer: pop the Grip Stand off first. It's magnetic, so that's a one-second job and it snaps back exactly where it was. The Snap Pack is the real fix — it charges your phone wirelessly at 15W over Qi2 while magnetically stuck to the back, and it'll fast-charge a second device at 20W over USB-C at the same time.

Where does the car mount stick, and will it hold?

To your dash, with 3M VHB adhesive — heat resistant, and it lifts off later without leaving residue behind. Choose a smooth, hard spot: VHB bonds to flat surfaces, so a heavily textured or soft-touch dashboard is the one place it struggles. From there the ball joint rotates to any angle you want, one-handed.

When will it arrive?

Free shipping is included with the Roam Kit, so there's no threshold to clear, and tracking is emailed the moment it leaves the warehouse. Takes 3-7 days to get to your doorstep.

What if I don't like it?
